Refining Your Technique with Shiatsu

Topics covered include:
* Fundamental principles of shiatsu and their application
* Common acu-points and effective uses
* Developing a therapeutic flow to your treatment
* Deriving therapeutic questions from the 12 meridian functions
* Understanding the Hara.

This one day course is designed to inspire and refresh your bodywork practice.

Through investigation and play we will explore how shiatsu can increase the quality and effectiveness of our bodywork sessions to bring more satisfaction to both you and your clients.

Rosemary Scavullo has a full-time Zen Shiatsu-acupressure practice and has been teaching shiatsu for over 10 years. .She uses joy to bring knowledge of home remedies to her workshops. Her primary training during the 1980's was in Japan and she continues to study Chinese Medicine and bodywork. She specializes in allergy and digestive health and is a certified NAET (Nambudripads Allergy Elimination Therapy) therapist. She has been a certified Shiatsu Instructor since 1996.

Classes will be held at 1 E. University Parkway, Suite 106. Baltimore, MD 21218 (University One). As you face the building, go in the door to the right of the main entrance. Directions from 95: Take Downtown exit, Stay left toward Inner Harbor. Take right onto Conway Street. Take left onto Charles St. Go approximately 4 miles. Take right onto University Parkway. "University One" is the first building on your right.
