Late Summer/Harvest Season comes with unique healing gifts for our digestive systems, including functions that support us in times of transition. Some simple movement and meditation practices (‘Qi Gong’) can help us tap into these gifts. I’ll present a collection of them in an easy to swallow format: Three 90 minute classes on either1 Monday evenings or Wednesday mornings, starting July 20 and 22. Live online presentations so you can tune in from wherever you’ll be then.

We have SO much to process in our ‘harvest’ from this extraordinary year! It can feel odd to go looking for the sweetness of life in the presence of such unsettling disharmony. And yet. We all need to tap into sustainable nourishment. Tuning up how we do this in Late Summer can mean stronger lungs – and immune systems! – come Autumn.

These centering practices help us restore our relationships with food, Mother Earth and whatever we call home. Sometimes noticeable benefits show up in a matter of minutes. Like fuller breathing, clearer sinuses or relaxed muscles. Over time, they can make for better balance, clearer thinking, more sympathy for ourselves and others. And with our center well tended, our steadier feet may find it easier to take whatever our Next Steps may be. So we find transitions can come more smoothly, even large ones like we are making this year!

Just think of it, you can learn these ‘homing devices’ – in the comfort of your own home!

In the presence of so much we wish we knew how to change, small practices with perceptible benefits can be surprisingly satisfying. These Qi Gong practices are exactly that. They’re easy to learn. And easy to share – in person OR online!

I’ve taught Seasonal Qi Gong to students and clients for many years. Taking them online this Summer was an adventure – and went better and farther than I imagined. The Heart-Healing Qi Gong classes were well-attended and well-reviewed. So I’ll keep teaching online for a few more seasons. Acupuncturists can earn CEUs and share these practices with clients. Beginners are welcome. So is anyone you might like to invite to do this with you. Please inquire about scholarships if tuition is prohibitive.
