Myofascial Release
Targets the fascial (connective tissue) system through the use of pressure and time. The practitioner places her hands on specific places on the body, thereby causing a gentle, sustained release of the muscle tissue. This may be performed while the client is fully clothed or in conjunction with regular muscle massage. Many find it stress and pain relieving. Excellent for individuals suffering from physical trauma, TMJ, migraines, whiplash, post-surgical scarring, car accidents, and common back and neck problems. Suitable for all ages.

Craniosacral
Very gentle, non-invasive holding technique utilizing the head and the base of the spine (sacrum) to help facilitate the inherent movement of the bones in the skull and sacrum. The purpose is to stimulate proper cerebrospinal fluid flow throughout the body. Craniosacral can be deeply relaxing and pain reducing as well. Most head, neck and back discomfort may be eliminated through this therapy. Can also be combined nicely with other modalities. Suitable for infants, children, adults, and people with certain types of cancer.

Prenatal
For the mother-to-be, this massage is exclusively tailored to meet the changing physiological needs of the pregnant woman. Stimulation of the skin is vital to a healthy pregnancy. Therefore, soothing massage strokes are applied to the face, arms, legs and back, while special attention is placed on ensuring proper support of the pelvic area. One can expect decreased muscular tension throughout the body, enhanced circulation for both mother and baby, less time in labor and delivery and increased immune system functioning. Highly recommended during the second and third trimesters.

Healing Stone Massage
