Spring Highlights: Granola Gathering, ArtFest

With the warm weather, Ruscombe has been getting out in the community. Visitors have been enjoying our cafe lunch outside on the grounds, and Rebekah Montgomery, massage therapist, arranged the Granola Gathering to make bags for the homeless.

Our annual community outreach event offered free presentations and demonstrations to our friends and neighbors introducing them to our healing arts. We enjoyed an uplifting day of fellowship and delicious, healthy snacks provided by our mostly-vegetarian chef, the Itinerant Cook. Join us for Lunch at the Ruscombe Co-op Café

Join us for lunch at the Rucombe Coop Café in January! Service returns on Wednesday January 17^th from 11-3, and then every Wednesday in January. Additional dates and meal prep pick up options will be expanding in February. Chef Zion + the Onyx Marketplace Collective are serving our community with fresh, healthy and artisanally prepared meals, focusing on local and seasonal produce. Zion’s homemade deliciousness is drawing in the crowds.

Meet Chef Zion! “I am a dedicated culinary student with a deep love for farm to table cuisine. I love to forage, commune with my friends and neighbors, and celebrate life through the exchange of culture and love.

“My culinary journey began by creating low-cost meals for my siblings as our parents worked to provide for us. Paired with a love, an ancestral connection to farming, and several years in restaurants and cafe management, my cooking style emerges at the brilliant intersection between farming and culinary exploration. I am honored to offer farm fresh and nutritious lunch and meal prep services to the Ruscombe and Coldspring community.

Dr. Hinderberger’s New Contact Info

Dr. Peter Hinderberger, long-time anthroposophic physician to our community, has relocated to 1122 Kenilworth Drive, Suite 407. This move to a larger office space will allow him to combine his Rafael Clinic mistletoe infusion center with his daily medical practice under one roof, and will make his professional life much easier. Although Dr. Hinderberger’s daily presence at Ruscombe will be dearly missed, we are very happy that he will remain a treasured friend and member of our Ruscombe Community and we congratulate him on his move to his new, expanded office space and infusion center.
