Do you love to dance, but feel uncomfortable in a choreographed dance class? Are you tired of the current workout scene that focuses on expensive clothing and pushing hard for perfection?
If you say yes to any of those questions, come check out this wonderful class!
Nia is a sensory-based movement form that explores and celebrates the joy and pleasure we can find in our bodies through sensation. Combining dance, martial arts, and healing modalities-including Feldenkrais, Yoga, and the Alexander Technique, Nia provides a way to find health, in your own body’s way.
Amy’s classes are fun, gentle, and welcoming; we dance to music from all around the world, and you will get a great workout!
Class is held Saturday mornings from 9:30 to 10:30. Wear clothes to move in, and we dance barefoot. Bring water to drink!
Drop in price is $15; class cards are available, 5 classes for $60.
