Creating Resilience: Defining Trauma and Adapting to It

Ruscombe Mansion Community Health Center is welcoming the holistic healing community for a networking and educational event on Thursday, April 4, from 6:30-8:00 PM. This event is an opportunity for holistic healers, recent graduates, and current students involved in the greater Baltimore area healing community, to meet, connect, and grow. Practitioners will also have a chance to view the beautiful practitioner spaces at Ruscombe that are available for rent.

Ruscombe founder, Zohara Meyerhoff Hieronimus, DHL, and two holistic practitioners from Ruscombe will present a panel discussion on Creating Resilience: Defining Trauma and Adapting to It.

  • Kim Brenninkmeyer, PhD is a clinical psychologist with special training in complex trauma and dissociative disorders. Kim works with individuals who are survivors of childhood abuse and neglect, as well as adults struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship and interpersonal difficulties.
  • Bharati Devkota is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Certified Classical Homeopath (CCH). Bharati treats patients with clinical conditions such as anxiety, depression, stress-related health conditions, chronic pain and fatigue by implementing integrative psychotherapy approaches.

We will share light healthy refreshments prepared by the Ruscombe’s very own chef, Steph Czyryca. Steph is devoted to creating whole food, plant-based menus to promote health and wholeness. You can enjoy her delicious meals on Tuesdays at The Ruscombe Co-Op Café.

The event is free, donations are welcome.

RSVP by March 28, 2019 at wellness@ruscombe.org or call (410) 367-7300.
