Full Moon Gatherings

Join us each month at Ruscombe for an enchanting evening under the luminous glow of the full moon! The Full Moon Gatherings are a series of in-person events that empower and reconnect us with the strong healing of Grandmother Moon, and allow us to find rhythm between ourselves and the external world. We will connect to the more-than-human world, and with each other, as we share Full Moon teachings from cultures around the world, create ceremony to invoke lunar energy, and experience a different healing modality each lunation.

The Second Lunation of the Year, January-February, is the Quickening Moon or Snow Moon. Within this lunation we celebrate the stillness and quiet stirrings of nature within us: introspection, nourishment, and deepening of our inner truth with gentle movement. Moon Festivals from India, China, Hopitutskwa, and Israel will be honored. Feel free to bring your own lunar stories!

We will embody the immersive experience of a Flutist Sound Bath, which produces vibrations that resonate with the body’s cells and energy centers, helping to release tension and stress, and allow us to explore more deeply into our psyche. This process is believed to facilitate a deep state of relaxation, similar to meditation, by quieting the mind and reducing mental chatter. The sound waves are thought to positively influence the brain’s alpha and theta brainwave frequencies, associated with relaxation and heightened states of awareness. This can lead to reduced stress, improved mood, and overall well-being.

Join us on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 6:00 PM (EST) to 8:00 PM. We will gather at 4801 Yellowwood Ave.

Don’t miss out on this captivating event! Mark your calendars and join us for the Full Moon Gatherings. Embrace the mystical energy and create unforgettable memories together. See you there!

Pre-registration encouraged, but Drop-Ins also welcome. Sliding Scale $12 – $39.
